Hola!

My name is Janet Vargas. I’m a graphic designer currently living in the eternally hot and humid paradise of Miami, FL (Miami Lakes/Hialeah, if you’re local). I earned my BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Art History in 2014 at the University of Florida. Go Gators!

When I’m not spending time trying to detangle the thicket that is my curly hair, I love browsing gourmet donuts on Instagram, going to kickboxing class, and hoarding empty boxes of well-designed cosmetics packaging.

I am inspired by what inspires others. I love helping artists and small businesses brand themselves by translating their personalities and objectives into concise visual elements, whether it’s a simple logotype or an intricate hand drawn illustration.

I have a strong foundation in package and print design, and also flexible with creating digital graphics for email and social media needs. Please don’t hesitate to approach me whether you need a twenty page catalog for construction materials or a business card for a cupcake shop. All challenges are welcomed. 🙂
