These pottery pieces were made to serve vigorón in a formal setting. Vigorón is a Nicaraguan dish that consists of boiled yuca, ensalada de repollo (cabbage slaw with tomatoes marinated in vinegar), and chicharrones (pork rinds). Usually it is already assembled together and served inside a banana leaf, meant to eaten on-the-go with your hands.
